Swiftly, she opened her eyes, but nothing had changed visibly, and yet she could feel something brewing. Then the whispers started, echoing across the lake, almost loud enough that she could hear them, almost but not quite. But when she looked closer, she realized the woman wasn't stepping out of the mountain, but was waking out of the mountain. Her hair was a dark earthy brown with trees sticking out like bizarre little hair decorations, and her skin was a mossy shade. Slowly she rose, stretching as she did as if awakening from a deep doze. Again Tawney caught movement, and turned her head to the other side to see a man rising out of the water. I will be writing more but gotta leave school. Tweet
