Cries would fill the smoky air As piles of bodies grew Oh how you would come to hate This hell you were getting into ************** Soldier Man... Chaos surrounds you now Oh God, you are so confused Who is right? Who is wrong? In this insanity you've gotten into? ************** Soldier Man... you see innocence die before your eyes Is it their just dues? "Lord, am I the 'good guy'", you pray, "In this conflict I've gotten into?" ************** Soldier Man... you hold the dying body of your enemy's child you raise your eyes, 'Lord, I'm sending her to you, Please forgive me for the hell I've brought to This thing I've gotten into.' ************** Soldier Man... you thought you were fighting for freedom But the truth is you were lied to About this war of conquest you were getting into ************** Soldier Man...
