A tale about a beautiful fairy with a BIG problem... | |||
Click here to read the first 75 lines of the story Raymonda didn't quite know what to say to this lunatic poem, so she just said, "Hello." At that moment, Josephina Stinklebottom floated into the hall and laughed. "I see you have already met my three assistant's assistants. I am Josephina Stinklebottom, and this is the assistant that the assistant's assistants assist, Jahdette Heelpong. Now, let's have a look at these feet of yours." Raymonda lifted up her dress and Josephina inspected the embarassing features. "Hmmm, I think I can fix this, with a bit of trial and error. It's the only way to go these days, you know, because nothing, absolutley nothing, is exact anymore. It's a bit of a pain, really. Now, to get us back on the track (who got us off it, anyway?) we'll have to mix up some potion. Sit here, dear. Now..." Josephina started pottering around, gathering this and that and mumbling things that Raymonda could not understand. Everything she picked up was thrown into a rather large, black cauldron, and Purple, Red and Pink began to mix it with a knife and fork, while Jahdette gave instructions. In just a few minutes, Josephina announced that the mix was ready. The three elves poured some out of the pot, into a large bowl, and Jahdette instructed Raymonda to put her feet in the bowl. As soon as they touched the brown liquid, Raymonda's feet went numb. She couldn't feel a thing. When her feet were pulled out, the elves gasped in unison. Raymonda's feet were, well, nonexistent. They were gone. "Some more skapprer, quick," barked Josephina, and in just a few seconds, Raymonda's 'feet' were back in the tub. This time, when they were pulled out, they were purple. "Oh no!" gasped Josephina, "lybot, hurry!" Once the lybot was added, the footbath became warmer. When Raymonda removed her feet they were the perfect size, shape and colour. "Oh, thankyou!" cried the fairy, and she payed and thanked Josephina again, and drove happily away. Back in Enchanting Village, life was good for Raymonda, as she had now married the pixie Brendan and thay had a daughter of their own, Shannona. But Raymonda's merriments were not joined by some other citizens, such as the shoemaker, who had gone bankrupt since Raymonda hadn't been paying so much for her shoes. However, the shoemaker left to try his chances in Hollywood, so, except for a shortage of shoes, the people of Enchanting Village lived happily ever after. Tweet
